My role is to design and create email campaigns which, in-house, we like to refer to as 'eshots' to differentiate them from ordinary email. Eshots are a combination of editorial, images and graphics. Amongst other things they can help provide event coverage, inform of new up-coming courses, introduce relevant products and impart any industry news.

Coming from a print design background, it has been fascinating developing those skills to suit electronic publication, the constrains of which are many in comparison. It's no surprise there continues to be a steady rise in the demand for eshots, as more and more are choosing to access information from their computers, tablets and smart phones.
