After twenty years working in the newspaper industry, I joined the company in 2016 when Pinpoint was looking to create online platforms to reflect the considerable amount of resource material it had built up over many years.
I have been involved in the building, design and maintenance of the four websites Pinpoint Scotland have created - ENT & Audiology News, Eye News, The PMFA Journal and Urology News.
There is vast amount of archive and current print material which we want to make available as a resource to our readers/users and I, along with Caroline, populate these sites with feature articles, reviews and supplement content. I also design graphics for the articles and online exclusives that appear there.
I regularly update the home pages to reflect the new topics we are in involved with, and liaise with my colleagues in production, editorial and advertising to ensure we publish the current news and reviews going on in the medical community.
